Is the GBO course fully residential?
No The GBO Programme is not fully residential. Classes usually begin at 9:30 AM and extend until 5:30 PM in the evening. But projects, presentations and other curricular activities keep the students busy and stretch these standard hours both ways.
How are the placements?
The placement scene is very encouraging and should prove to be a great attraction for new applicants. The average is around INR 6.825 lacs and highest around INR 9.6 lacs (2007-2008). The figures are on an increasing trend. But more important than the package are the companies visiting the campus. For more information refer the website.
What is the entrance procedure for admission to the GBO Programme?
Entrance procedure is 3 tiered. Various stages of entrance are Admissions test. Group Discussions, Interviews.
Does SRCC give any preference to its Undergraduate students for the admission to the GBO programme?
No preference is given to undergraduate students of SRCC. Or for that matter any course of study. The admissions are solely based on merit basis.
What is the scope for industry interface?
GBO has a strong industry interface. Seminars and workshops are regularly held with eminent personalities and scholars being called from industry and the academic world. Various events like HR summit and National Colloquium are held yearly and are a platform for industry interaction.
Is Work Experience given any weight age in the selection process?
Work Experience may or may not count. It solely depends on the selection committee. As such having work experience would add up to the resume
What is the Eligibility Requirement for applying to this course?
The eligibility requirement is a Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) with 50% marks from a recognised University. Final year students can also apply

Where do I get the admission form?
For GBO 2008 admissions you can obtain the admission form from the Section officer (Admn.) from November 26th to December 28th 2007 between 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM ( Monday to Friday ) on payment of Rs 800 ( Rs 400 for SC/ST, PH) by Cash/Bank Draft, Inclusive of admission test fee. Bank Draft in favor of Principal, Shri Ram College of Commerce, payable at State Bank of India, Service Branch (code no 1067). You can also obtain it by post for details refer the admission notification.
What is the last date for submission of application forms?
Usually one whole month is given from the day the forms are out to the last day of submission. The last day of submission of GBO 2008 admission forms is Friday, December 28, 2007 upto 4:00 PM. For further information you can contact at (011) 27667905 Extn 23, 35 or 41 and (O) 9999029583.
What is the date for entrance exam?
The admission test is usually held in the month of January. For GBO Admissions 2008 the dates are Sunday, January 27, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Jaipur and Bhopal.
When are the results of various stages of entrance usually out?
The results are usually out one to one and half months after the admission test. The list of students qualifying for the next stage along with the details of the next stage is usually released with the results.
Where do I get to check out the results?
The results are displayed on the website as well as the College Notice Board. For further information the admission office can be contacted from time to time.
When and how do I get to know I have been finally selected for the course?
You may be sent a letter by the college informing you of your final selection. The final list may also be displayed on the website.
How is the first day at GBO?
The course keeps you on your toes right from day one. Deadlines shall be set and you shall have to keep pace with them. But apart from studies it is fun being a part of GBO and soaking up the DU aura. We have Internet facilities at the computer labs as well as wireless LAN for GBO students.
