Placement Cell
The Placement Cell, at GBO, is a cohesive team of students from both batches that undertakes the task of interacting with organizations on behalf of GBO and create a synergistic relationship with them. The Placement Cell has been instrumental in organizing the Recruitment Drive at GBO, ensuring the illustrious placement record of GBOites.

The activities of the Placement Cell are conducted by representative students from both the batches under the helm of a Staff Coordinator. The objective of the cell is to create opportunities for organizations and students to find a match between their requirements and skills. The whole dynamics of the Placement Cell is based on creating a Win-Win situation for all involved parties.

However, the activities of the Placement Cell is not restricted to the recruitment Drive. The Placement Cell also looks after the Industry-Interaction aspect of the course. It conducts Industrial Lectures, Seminars, Workshops, Internships and Small-term Projects for Students throughout the year, forging a long-lasting relationship with our industry counterparts.

The Placement Cell has performed beyond expectations to create the overwhelming placement records at GBO and has been true to its objective of finding the right opportunity for every student. Over the years, the alumni of GBO have carved a special place for themselves in the market as students fresh from the institute continue to reaffirm the faith our recruiters put in them by satisfying them with their performance.

Industry Interaction Cell
The industry interaction cell acts as an interface between the students and the industry providing opportunities for our student managers to gain insight into the ever-dynamic corporate world. Various professionals from the industry are invited every week and the students take full advantage of these seminars, corporate lectures, panel discussions workshops, industry and port visits. Many practical issues, which are beyond the scope of the textbooks, are discussed and mulled upon by the students.
